We got Reggie at 1yro as a local rehome in 2021. He was in the middle of adolescence and was quite honestly a massive pain despite being chosen for his temperament. We started with basic obedience before moving on to tasks where we started training with Wild Spirit. We had to take a break from assistance dog training as I had to do my A levels. We are now in the middle of PA skills and he is doing really well. He still struggles with some house manners, settling and gear shyness but is still well on track to accompany me to university next year.

He helps me with my independence by being something I can ground myself to and that helps me when I am confused or overwhelmed. He can make me aware of certain types of anxiety attacks and can perform light pressure therapy. He also is starting retrievals though hasn’t got a solid hold down just yet. He has a powerful nose and can close any draw or press any button you want him to!

He is definitely a good boy!
